The legislature is back in session next week, but we also have a lot of other exciting things coming up with the Working Families Party. Read below to learn more about how you can get involved in our upcoming set of endorsements and why we need your help to raise some grassroots funds over the next several months.
Endorsements and Coordinated Campaign
We are going to be announcing our first round of endorsements in just three weeks on Monday, April 29th, and we’ll be holding our coordinated campaign kickoff that Saturday on May 4th. As we mentioned last week, this coordinated campaign will allow us to make sure that our people power is as effective as possible: knocking doors and making phone calls in support of a slate of grassroots candidates.
However, this is only going to work if we are all able to turn out and hit the ground running. You can sign up here to indicate that you are interested in helping out by knocking doors, making phone calls, or helping other people get activated and organized.
Fundraising Help
Now that we are ramping up our electoral campaigns and issue campaigns, we are going to need to start spending a lot more money for materials, outreach, and paying people for their labor. While we are doing some one-on-one outreach, we also are going to need the help of hundreds of members like you just giving $5, $10, $20 or whatever they can afford to help get us over the top.
